Located right behind the Municipal Building.

Offers opportunities for seniors to socialize, learn, share meals, participate in special events and to obtain information on senior services.

All senior citizens are welcome.

The Center, located directly behind the Deerfield Township Municipal Building on Landis Avenue in Rosenhayn, is open 10 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. It is closed on Fridays and on legal holidays.

Lunch is served at a nominal cost of $1.50 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The center sponsors activities throughout the month. Mondays from 10-11 AM they have "healthy bones" exercises. From 12:30 – 2 PM on Mondays, the seniors play bingo for fun and prizes.

Tuesdays feature line dancing from 10-11 AM lead by Joe Pizzo and Janice Pierce.

Crafts day is Thursday. This features knitting, painting, woodworking and more. On Mondays from 10 AM to noon, Outreach Worker Lu Ann Whitaker visits the Senior Center. She helps seniors with discounts on fuel bills, electric bills, cable bills and other discounts they may qualify for.

It’s off to Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City on the last Wednesday of each month. The bus leaves from and returns to the Senior Center. Contact the Center for more information on the bus trip each month.

Lorene reminds seniors that there is a scale in the coatroom so you can keep track of your weight. There are magazines and books available at the Center as well as puzzles, organ, sewing machine, a TV and a computer. There is also an exerciser and a card room where seniors play cards. Refreshments and coffee are available when the center is open.
