How much does it cost to get into the festival?	Fri. night: No admission fee. Sat, & Sun.: There is a $2 admission charge for ages 13 years old and up. $1 admission charge for ages 6 to 12. 5 and under, no admission charge. Asked to have your hand stamped as you leave and you may re-enter the festival on that day. If you park in the Official Festival Parking Lot, admission for up five people in your vehicle is included in the $5.00 parking fee.
Do we pay a fee to see the live music and other entertainment?	No. On Sat. and Sun., once you've paid the general admission charge, there is no additional charge for the musical and children's entertainment, except for amusement rides, games and other specialty events. Note that you may become a Friend of the Festival for a contribution and gain access to special Friends of Festival reserved section in front of the main stages. Is this a fund raiser for the Township and how much does it make?	No it is not a fund raising event. It is a community event designed to bring people, especially families, together to have fun and to honor farming. Any profit goes into the Deerfield Township Recreation Trust Fund which is used to support future festivals and to help maintain recreation facilities and programs in the township.
What happens if it rains?	As long as weather conditions are not unsafe, the festival goes on rain or shine. So pack those rain slickers and umbrellas and come out and enjoy the fun. Due to contracts with entertainers and many other scheduling complications, the festival must be held as scheduled.
Where is the festival?	It is in the community of Rosenhayn in the Township of Deerfield in Cumberland County, New Jersey. The festival is held on the grounds of Rosenhayn Fire and Rescue and Frank LoBiondo, Sr. Park on Morton Avenue. It is an outdoor event with entertainment on a covered stage and on the basketball court on the park. Amusement rides, food booths, arts and crafts -- all the events except the parade, take place on this 8 acre site. Click on "Directions" for more detail on the location and how to get there.
Who runs the festival and why is it held?	The Deerfield Township Recreation Committee, which is part of the government of the Township of Deerfield, created the festival to develop a positive public image for this small farming community, to bring all parts of this diverse community together in a positive event, to honor the importance of farming, and to have fun in a celebration near the end of the farming season. It is produced and managed by the Recreation Committee with volunteers from the community and many community groups from throughout the region.
Is there any seating for the entertainment?	Visitors are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets to place near the stages. There is some bleacher seating available and there are picnic tables nearby. Note there is a special reserved section with folding chairs for Friends of the Festival. Where can I park?	The Recreation Committee and some community groups sponsor a large official parking lot near festival. Official Parking fee is $5. Your fee benefits the festival and several community groups and includes free handicapped accessible shuttle buses to and from the official lot. Your parking fee also provides for the admission fee for up to five people in your vehicle. It is also within walking distance, about two blocks if you wish to walk. The lot is lighted and convenient. Avoid parking in restricted areas as NJ State Police will be enforcing parking regulations to ensure safety and security and traffic flow near the festival area. IF you remove your vehicle from the parking lot, there is no re-admission without paying the parking fee again.
How much are the amusement rides?	Tickets are purchased and ride prices are posted at each ride. Prices vary from about $1 to $3 per ride. Special "all you can ride" times provide special value for families and others. For just $20 per person, unlimited rides are offered on FRIDAY, from 6 to 10 PM and SATURDAY, 1-5 PM only and SUNDAY, 1-5 PM only. A $40 super pass is available this year. It will allow unlimited access to the rides during all hours of all three days of the festival. Normal ride per ride prices are in effect at all other times during the festival. Are foods and beverages available at the festival?	Yes. What harvest festival would be complete without a big food court with all kinds of homemade foods and traditional festival favorites? The festival committee and many professional food vendors and community groups sell foods and drinks at "reasonable" prices. Click on "foods" on the menu column for details. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are sold or permitted at the festival. In order to maintain a "family" atmosphere and to promote public safety, the festival committee asks all visitors to comply with this no alcohol policy.
Do we still need to buy special tickets for foods?	No. For your convenience, all food vendors now accept cash at their food stands. Tickets are only needed for amusement rides and may be purchased at ticket booths in the amusement ride area.
Where is the parade and who can be in it?	The festival parade is on Saturday, starting at 12:00 p.m. It comes down Morton Avenue from Bridgeton Avenue on the south end of Rosenhayn, and runs up to the festival site near Rosenhayn Fire Hall. Anyone may enter the parade. Click on Festival Parade on the menu for details on entering the parade and the parade line-up when available.
What time are the entertainers on stage and performing throughout the festival site?	Just click on "entertainment" on the menu and get the full schedule of events.
When and where are the fireworks?	Fireworks light up the sky over the festival site on SUNDAY night, 9:30 p.m.
How can I enter the arts and crafts show and how much is the entry fee?	No fee for visitors. Crafters and businesses pay a fee to display an sell their items. Just click on Arts & Crafts on the menu column and get the details.
