2011 Festival SIngFest / Idol Contest

Preliminary Competition -

Friday, October 7, 7:00 PM

Finals Competition -

Sunday, October 9, 1 PM

Our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted entries to be participants in the Festival SingFest Contest. We had a record number of entries. Fifty people entered the contest.  Due to time constraints at the Festival we have to limit the number selected to be in the preliminary competition to 25.

The Festival SingFest Committee met for four hours on Sept. 28 to listen to the audition tapes and score the entries in order to reach a decision on the top 25.  In many cases, the decisions were difficult as most entries were good. Note that some entries could not be qualified because the recording submitted could not be heard despite our use of multiple cassette tape players, CD players, computers and DVD players.

We thank you for your interest in the festival singing competition.

If you were not selected to be in the competition, you may pick up your audition recordings at the Deerfield Township Municipal Building in Rosenhayn between now and October 14. After that time the recordings will be disposed of.

Those who have been selected to compete, please review the information below regarding deadlines for submission of music for your song for Oct. 7, a photo and an short bio.  They are all due no later than Monday, Oct. 3. Click here for details.

If for any reason you cannot participate after being selected, please contact us by email or phone immediately.
