Harvey seen here in the early years of the festival, is retired and we are looking for a new festival mascot. 

Entries must be sent via email to harveyfest@dthf.org by Sept. 22, 2009. Entries will be posted to www.dthf.org beginning on Sept. 22. Votes by the public will be received via email at harvestfest@dthf.org from Sept. 23 to Sept. 28 with one vote accepted from each voter’s email addresses. The 3 entries that receive the most votes will be presented to the Deerfield Recreation Committee for its selection of the winner on Sept. 29.  The winner will be notified by Sept. 30 and the new Harvey Fest will be announced on Oct. 1. The new Harvey will make his first live appearance at the festival during the Festival Idol Contest on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 PM.

** Friend of the Festival  2-Day Packs include a seat in the reserved section in front of the festival’s main stage from 5 PM until closing on Saturday and Sunday, one free hot dog and soda, one refillable at a discount commemorative festival soda cup and one entry into the friends of the festival drawing for prizes to be announced.
